Israel added as an eligible Work and Holiday Visa country
Great news for young people in Israel: the Australian Government added the state of Israel as an eligible Work and Holiday (subclass 462) visa country. This visa is for people between 18 and 30 years old. It allows you to work, study and travel in Australia. Click here for more information on the Work and Holiday Visa.
To read the Legislative Instrument click here. It specifies the following:
– that a holder of a state of Israel passport does not need to provide evidence of government support for grant of this visa
– the educational qualifications relevant to applicants from the state of Israel
– the addresses for making a valid application

I am 32 years old. Does this mean I’m too old for a work and holiday visa? I really want to come to Australia!
Hi Keta,
Currently the age limit is 30 but this is about to change. The Department of Immigration and Border Protection is going to increase the age for Working Holiday Makers to 35. We will keep you posted! What country are you from? There are only certain countries eligible for the Working Holiday Visa.
You may be eligible for other visas. Contact our immigration law specialists at Northern Immigration Australia and they will tell you what visas are suitable for you!
